B2ST's Yoseob Malaysia Airport Tripping Incident: Concerned for his Fans!

On the 24^th of July, B2ST has successfully performed at the ‘MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2011′ at i-City in Malaysia, where they sang their hits “Shock”, “Breath”, “Beautiful” and “On Rainy Days” .

On the next day B2ST headed straight to the Kuala Lumpur Airport to catch their flight back to Seoul, Korea. In the middle of the hustle and bustle, Yoseob, while talking to his cell phone accidentally tripped and fell over while walking back to the terminal, dropping his entire luggage to the floor. The staff and his co-members immediately helped him up. 

Shortly afterwards, he tweeted a message of reassurance to his fans: 

“Ack! So embarrassing. I was so embarrassed before that I rushed out and didn’t get to say bye. To anyone who fell over from getting pushed, are you okay? I’m sorry.”

“Tripping over at the Malaysia Airport was 100% my fault. I’m more sorry to the fans who were shouting ‘Yoseob, I’m sorry’ to me. Anyway, I’m completely fine, so don’t worry.”

Fans were impressed of this sweet consideration coming from their idol. Saying; it’s touching to see his love for his fans.

He was the one who fell over yet he was the one saying sorry? Once again, Yoseob displayed how soft-hearted and kind he is. It’s alright to fall down; the important thing is to learn to stand up each time. And that’s how Yoseob does it. Fighting! ^_^

B2ST’s hit song “On Rainy Days” Banned in Korea

                 Fans might have wondered about B2ST member Yoseob’s tweet on July 18, stating: “I think I’m going to start singing children songs. I need Tylenol. This is just too much. Sigh… we can’t perform with this song, agh”

                This was due to the news that the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family has released yet another list of songs that they’ve banned for content believed to be hazardous to the youth. And B2ST’s “On Rainy Days” is one of them. A line from the song goes: “I think I’m drunk, I should stop drinking.” Believed to suggest ‘drugs’ and has negative influence on the youth.

My Personal Opinion:

Heck no! Goong’s Original Soundtrack by Stay “You and I Are Fools” (당신은… 나는 바보입니다) Also has a line saying: ‘Because of my pride I'm ruining myself with alcohol’ but I never heard it being banned. Another of B2ST’s hit song “Breakdown” has a line: ‘With the alcohol I consumed yesterday, I try to hold onto my sore insides as I open my eyes’, but it was not banned.

                All I’m trying to say is; I guess it depends on the listener on how he’s going to take what it means. And it’s down to parents to guide their kids properly on the right and good things to make in life.

                Music knows no boundaries; it’s a universal language that everyone speaks. It’s a kind of art without a limit. There are other worst songs that deserve this kind of judgment. I guess I just felt a bit of injustice since my favorite song “On Rainy Days” which give me inspiration is one of the things that other people consider “offensive”. I’m just saying.

Malaysia and Singapore: B2ST Fanmeet Asian Tour 2011

The all-time favorite K-Pop group B2ST has started their Asian Fanmeet in Malaysia and Singapore!

The 5,000 anticipating fans in Malaysia met up with their Idols on July 1^st of 2011. Fans from all over Asia gathered around the concert hall, early in the morning, amidst local media outlets. Concert-related goods were all sold out within 30 minutes of going on sale.

B2ST headed to Singapore the next day to meet up with another 5,000 fans and performed their hit songs: Special, Soom, Shock and Beautiful; which the fans sang along in unison. The boys even played games and had conversations with their B2UTIES during the show.

On July 4^th, Leader Doojoon had a special surprise birthday party planned by the fans. B2ST commented: “We’re glad to be able to start our first fan meeting tour since our debut.  We were all so touched to see fans following along to our songs.  It’s truly a blessing to be able to be so close to our fans like this.”

Thailand will come next on July 9^th, followed by Japan, Taiwan and China. B2UTIES get shocked! ^_^
